The objective of the EASA Opinion No. 04/2020 is to establish a safety management system (SMS) framework for design and production (Part 21) as well as maintenance organisations (Part-145), which are the remaining two domains for which ICAO Annex 19 has not been fully transposed yet into the European Union regulatory framework.
Annex II ‘Essential requirements for airworthiness’ to Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, which amends the Basic Regulation, explicitly calls for design, production and maintenance organisations to implement and maintain a management system (MS), including the management of safety risks, continuous improvement, supported by an effective occurrence-reporting system.
The “New” Part 145 Training is a three-day course addressing all aspects of Part-145, Maintenance Organisations with a strong focus of the expected changes within the EASA Part 145 framework including the embedding of the SMS as per frame of the future regulation based on the EASA Opinion 04/2020.
Objectives
Understand all aspects of the Commission Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 Annex II (Part-145) and EASA Opinion 04/2020 (or following) including: Management System, personnel and facility, Certifying and Airworthiness, equipment and material, planning and maintenance processes, records and reporting, quality system and content of MOE. The training also provides an overview of relevant sections of other regulations like Part-M, Part-66 and Part 21..
At the end of the course participants will be able to understand the regulation and also gain awareness of how it can be practically and successfully implemented into their organisation.

Requirements of Commission Regulations (EU) 1321/2014, and amendments thereof with respect to aircraft maintenance including related AMC and GM material.

Target Groups
This course is aimed at all personnel engaged in aircraft maintenance operations, including quality staff, and also to all aviation professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in EASA Part 145.
Certification
Knowledge test will be performed at the end of the course. Certificate will be issued after the course completion.
