Data protection is a high priority for AviaQuality and therefore AviaQuality  will treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable laws.

 

In our privacy policy we would like to provide you with information on how personal data are processed when the website  www.aviaquality.com (.ch) is used.

 

Keep in mind that data transmission on the Internet can generally be subject to security vulnerabilities. Full protection against access by strangers is not possible.

Due to new technologies and continuous development of this website, changes or updates of our privacy policy may be necessary.

For this reason we recommend that you review the privacy policy at regular intervals.

Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. 

 

3.  Scope, purpose, and lawful basis of processing personal data

 

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

 

We may collect and use personal information directly from our users or from other sources (as described below) in the following situations:

3.1. Use of the website and creation of log files

 

When users visit our website, the system automatically collects data and information related to the access to our website each time our website is accessed. 

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); invoice details , comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

This data is also saved in the system's log files, through the WIX platform. This data is not stored together with any other personal data about the user.

 

We collect and use this technical information for purposes to continuously improve our website efficiency.

Currently, AviaQuality does not trace visitor's IP address. The Wix platform does not offer this service and this would be only possible by using additional services such as Google Analytics, which services AviaQuality currently does not use.

The lawful basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

3.2. Provided data
 

AviaQuality offers a wide range of services on our website. In order to provide these services, we must collect and process personal data from users or our customers.

 

In order to meet statutory or contractual requirements, we have marked the respective fields in the forms on our website that must be filled out so that we can perform the requested contract or service.

The following data will be requested for such purpose and logged by AviaQuality:

  • Last Name

From Training/Service register:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Telephone No.

  • Address

Data may be collected either via Service/Training booking system or in case of contact request from the user via the form (s) available in the website.

 

The collected data will be used to register in training or services and provide the necessary services to the customers (i.e., Invoices, Training certificates etc.).

 

However, the website operator reserves the right to retrospectively check the server log files in case concrete evidence point to unlawful use.

3.2.1. Newsletter enrollment

 

The website offers a newsletter service which will inform you about current events and offers.

 

You have the possibility to sign up for a free newsletter at our website.

During online registration the following data will be entered and processed:

 

  • Title of the user

  • Name and Surname of the user

  • E-mail address of the user

 

During the registration your consent for data processing will be obtained with reference to the privacy policy.

 

The data will not be disclosed to third parties in connection with the data processing for the sending of the newsletters. The data will be used exclusively for the sending of the newsletters.

We process your data to send you newsletters that inform you about interesting topics related to our services.

In addition, we process and use the e-mail address you entered to send you personalized offers in connection with the newsletters.

 

3.3. Cookies

 

AviaQuality website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are saved in the user’s web browser or by the user’s web browser on their computer system.

If a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user’s operating system. This cookie contains a unique string of characters that uniquely identifies the user’s browser when the user returns to the website.

Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted to our site.

Among other things, WIX offers HTTPS secure access to most areas on their Services.

 

WIX also regularly monitors their systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and regularly seek new ways for further enhancing the security of their Services and protection of Visitors’ and Users’ privacy.

 

Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by Wix, it cannot be not guaranteed the absolute protection and security of your personal information which are stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.
