EASA has defined its Compliance Monitoring requirements for Commercial Air Transport (CAT) operators. The need to have an effective Quality Management System and competent quality auditors therefore remains ever present.

Regulation 965/2012 has a significant impact affecting all European Operators.

 

This training is specifically focused on key personnel in Aviation Management, Flight Operations or Aircraft Maintenance environment involved in or with responsibility for the implementing Part OPS.

Objectives

Get familiar with the content of the revised (EU) 965/2012 Air Ops Regulations, including content of Annex I to Annex VIII and the corresponding Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC)  and Guidance Material (GM).

 

Learn to understand and develop an effective Audit Plan and related Checklists; learn to understand auditing best practices and how to conduct an audit; Learn the management of Root causes and Finding follow-up

Course Content

  • EASA organisation and regulations structure

  • Review of the revised (EU) 965/2012 Air Ops Regulations, including content of Annex I to Annex VIII and the corresponding Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC)  and Guidance Material (GM)Audit Plan and Audit Procedure

  • Review of the revised (EU) 1178/2011 (FCL)

  • Monitor of the privileges of the operator Monitor, manuals, logs and records, training standards, procedures (ORO.GEN.200)

  • Developing Annual Audit Plan

  • Audit Checklist process

  • Auditing best practices

  • Finding, Route Causes and Follow-up

  • The corrective action and audit close-out process

  • Practical examples and Auditing simulation

Certification
